I am a fan of music.  I grew up a fan of music.  As a kid, I spent plenty of time in my bedroom with  Adrock, my brother,  MXPX and a broom stick guitar.  I've always I loved the experience of isolating myself with a new CD, putting it on my discman and headphones, examining every pic in the album booklet, and reading every lyric and liner note as I listened.  Over the course of the last few years and thanks in large part to some of the most important people in my life, I became a good music fan.  By good music fan, what I think I mean is that my ability to independantly identify, consider, actively listen to music and really know what I think sounds good has evolved over the years, and has me listening and being interested by types of music I never expected.  Over the course of the last few weeks, I've been writing my favorite 13 albums of 2010 list.  This list is comprised entirely of the albums that I liked the most in 2010, the criteria for each album being it was released in 2010, and that I liked it.  Only  albums that are Breezily acclaimed.  That's pretty much it.  There will be more to follow, and I'll have others join me in some musical rants. This is my first rip at a music blog....so.....see you guys later.  -  Cool Breeze

Funk?  Three unassuming, atypically ethnic college rappers combine funny ass, clever, interesting, intelligent lyrics with funny ass, clever, interesting, intelligent phrasing and funny ass, clever, int...you get it....beats.  At times their flows sound like pieces of the all time greats, except for when they sound like no one else. But they are always smart, hilarious, and always rapping about really, really awesome stuff. 

Nugget!  This album is free online, so download it.  And they sampled and jamified the ay...yi...yii..ohiii...yiii..yaaaa song from like '87 ("Return to Innocence").  The one that had the video of the wierd indian dude dancing. Probably chosen because they are wierd indian dudes, and I think that guy is their grampa.
